About Me
Originally from Astoria, Oregon, Kamila works across radio, live music environments, collaborative projects, and independent production.
She is the host of Dancing in the Dark on KMUN 91.9, a DJ in the Brazilian Zouk Scene, and part of the ambient electro-acoustic duo MIM.
Kamila is a music programmer, DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist exploring movement, atmosphere, and cross-cultural listening through sound.
Kamila received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Ithaca College, and a subsequent Master of Music Therapy from Texas Woman's University. She is a Board Certified Music Therapist.

Dancing in the Dark is a bi-weekly radio show on KMUN 91.9 Astoria
Each episode explores different dance styles, moods, and parts of the world through genre-spanning music selections rooted in movement, discovery, and emotional connection. From atmospheric techno and drum & bass to alté, neoperreo, and global club sounds, the show embraces fluidity, curiosity, and self-expression through sound.
Built around the idea that music can dissolve barriers and create freedom, Dancing in the Dark invites listeners to move, let go, and connect more deeply with themselves and the music. Whether immersive, playful, atmospheric, or high-energy, each set is designed as an open-ended journey through rhythm, atmosphere, and feeling.
